About this job
Run a dedicated round-trip route between Hazel Park, Detroit, and Hudson for Hi Lex, with drop and hook freight and home every day. Afternoon shift, manual transmission required.
Pay
- $130 per load, about 10 loads a week covering 218 miles per load
- Weekly pay comes to about $1,300 to $1,920, with a stated range up to $2,000
- Loads run on Saturday or Sunday pay an extra $25 each, bringing those loads to $165
- Paid weekly
- Choose to be paid as a W2 employee (with 50% of health coverage paid for you) or as a 1099 contractor
Home time
- Home every day
- Shift runs 4 PM to 1 AM, Monday through Friday
- Some Saturdays are required when loads are available, though the typical week is Monday to Friday

Requirements
- CDL-A
- Comfortable driving a manual transmission truck
- Experience with local delivery driving and freight handling
