About this job
This role combines driving and dock work for a terminal based out of Auburn, WA. You'll handle freight pickup, loading, transport and delivery, returning to your home terminal every shift.
Pay
Starting pay is $28.00 per hour, with a minimum of 40 hours scheduled weekly.
Home time
Every route returns to the home terminal in the same shift, so you're home daily. Shifts can fall on days, nights or weekends depending on business needs.
What you'll haul
You'll drive a tractor-trailer to move packages and palletized freight to homes and businesses, and also work the dock using pallet movers and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, scan, sort and stock shipments.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL issued in your home state
- HazMat endorsement
- Pass a company road test, DOT physical with drug screen, and background checks
- Able to lift up to 70 lbs on a regular basis
- Follow company uniform and appearance standards
