Local CDL-A Driver — $1,500–$1,650/Week, Home Daily

Our company in Wilmington, DE is looking for a CDL-A driver to run steady regional freight with daily home time. Pay runs $1,500 to $1,650 per week.

• Home daily, with morning and evening shift options

What you'll haul

• Safe, steady freight on a consistent regional route

• Operating area covers DE, PA, NY and VA, averaging about 1,700 miles per week

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

• Deliver freight on schedule

• Keep accurate logs and trip paperwork

• Stay in regular contact with dispatch and driver managers

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• At least 6 months of driving experience

• Clean driving record and background check

• Able to pass a DOT drug screen (urine and hair follicle test)

• No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years

• No careless or negligent driving violations in the past 3 years

• No reckless driving violations in the past 5 years

• No more than 3 preventable accidents in a commercial vehicle over the past 3 years

• No terminations within the past year

• No felonies in the past 7 years, and no more than 2 misdemeanors in that time

• A DUI or DWI within the last 5 years disqualifies you, and no more than 2 DUIs allowed in a lifetime

• A DUI, DWI, or impaired driving incident in a personal vehicle between 5 and 10 years ago requires written review by the safety team
