About this job
Our company is hiring a local CDL-A delivery driver in DuBois, PA to run assigned routes and hand-deliver food products to customers. You'll drive a tractor-trailer and handle unloading yourself, building relationships with the customers on your route.
Pay
Our company offers productivity incentives on top of base pay, though no specific rate is listed. A sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 is available.
Home time
Most drivers in this role run daily routes and return home each night.
What you'll haul
You'll transport meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods and other supplies to customer locations, unloading product by hand - typically 40 to 60 pounds per item, occasionally up to 100 pounds.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL with a clean enough record to meet company insurance standards
- At least 21 years old
- Able to pass required employment screening
- Comfortable reading and speaking English well enough to handle road signs, official requests and paperwork
- Willing to work overtime, weekends and holidays as needed
- A year of delivery experience, familiarity with hand trucks, food and beverage background, and steady work history are all pluses but not required
