About this job
This role is for a local CDL-A driver delivering goods to customers in the Orlando area, with hands-on unloading involved. You'll operate a commercial truck and related equipment, handling deliveries directly with customers.
What you'll do
- Drive a commercial motor vehicle safely to customer stops
- Unload freight and hand it off to customers in a courteous manner
- Check your vehicle and equipment before and after each trip
- Use powered equipment like electric pallet jacks or hand trucks to move product
- Take on other assigned tasks as needed
Requirements
- At least 21 years old
- A minimum of one year of Class A driving experience, or equivalent time driving in the military
- Ability to lift items in the 25-50 lb range regularly, with occasional lifts up to 170 lbs
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred but not required
