Local CDL-A Delivery Driver — Home Every Night

Our company is looking for a CDL-A driver in Winterville, NC to deliver and pick up equipment for customers. This is a local route, so you'll be home every night.

What you'll haul

• Construction equipment, including semi-trucks and low boy trailers classified as CDL-A

What you'll do

• Pick up and drop off equipment at customer sites

• Follow all applicable safety rules, including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations

• Fill out driver logs and perform pre-trip inspections

• Act as a representative of the company when interacting with customers, offering strong service and recommending equipment or supplies they might need

• Take on other tasks as assigned

Home time

You'll be home every night, since this is a local position.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving history

• High school diploma or GED

• At least 2 years of DOT-regulated commercial driving experience

• Strong communication and customer service skills, and the ability to work well with others

• Able to lift up to 45 lbs on a regular basis

• General familiarity with construction equipment and safe driving practices

• Note: this role is classified as safety sensitive under company policy
