About this job
Our company is hiring a local Class A CDL driver to deliver materials to customers around Raleigh, NC. You'll run local routes only, so you're home every night.
What you'll haul
- Deliver supplies that help customers get clean water and heating/cooling systems to their customers
- Drive a Class A rig over 26,000 lbs GVW, including a gooseneck trailer or a semi with a flatbed
- Load and unload materials, keep inventory accurate, and check each load against the order before it goes out
- Handle routes through city streets and active construction sites
Requirements
- At least 21 years old
- Valid Commercial Driver's License, minimum Class B
- Clean driving record
- Able to lift 50+ lbs regularly, and to bend, squat, crouch and reach as the job requires
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors during your shift
