Local CDL-A Delivery Driver — Home Daily, $82K–$97K/yr

Our company, the distribution arm of Chick-fil-A, Inc., is hiring a local CDL-A driver in Brighton, CO to deliver to restaurants overnight and be home every day. You'll run brand-new automatic Kenworth tractors paired with Great Dane reefer trailers equipped with lift gates, cameras, and GPS routing tools.

Schedule

• Shifts run Sunday through Friday, starting between 6pm and 10pm, with Saturdays off

• Expect roughly 40 to 45+ hours weekly depending on routes

• Some flexibility needed for weekends, holidays and rotating shifts

Pay

• Guaranteed minimum pay for a 40-hour week, ranging $82,000 to $97,000 per year depending on your driving experience

• Overtime pay for anything worked beyond 40 hours a week

What you'll haul

• Temperature-controlled deliveries to 4-6 Chick-fil-A restaurants per shift, using power pallet jacks to move product

• Handling pickups and returns of pallets, carts and related equipment

Requirements

• Class A CDL from your state of residence, at least 21 years old

• At least 1 year of tractor-trailer driving experience

• Clean record: no preventable DOT-recordable accidents in 3 years, no more than 2 violations of the same type (3 total) in 3 years, no DUI/DWI in the past 10 years

• Must live within 60 miles of the Denver distribution center

• Pass a DOT Clearinghouse check, MVR review, medical card, drug test and background check

• High school diploma or GED, and solid English skills for reading labels, pick lists and communications

• Comfortable working in extreme temperatures (-10F to 100F), mostly overnight, and lifting up to 65 lbs per case regularly
