About this job
Our company is hiring a CDL A Delivery Driver in Tampa, FL to deliver food products to customers on local routes. This is a local, home-daily route with early morning starts.
Pay
- $32.60 to $34.23 per hour, plus overtime
- Pay can vary based on experience, education, skills, and location
Schedule
- Monday through Saturday, with Sunday and one other day off
- Shifts start between 2:00 am and 5:00 am
What you'll do
- Drive and deliver products safely to customers
- Unload freight by hand, two-wheeler, or ramp (100% touch freight)
- Verify deliveries and get customer signatures
- Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections
- Handle collections and payments when needed
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Valid Class A CDL with required endorsements and DOT qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of commercial driving experience in any industry, or 3 months in food/beverage delivery
- Must register with the FMCSA Clearinghouse
- Able to read and communicate in English
- Manual transmission experience preferred
- Able to lift, carry, push, and pull 20 to 80+ lbs repeatedly, and work in varying temperatures including as low as 0 degrees
