Local CDL-A Delivery Driver — Home Daily, $28.19/hr

Our company is looking for a local Class A CDL driver in Pineville, NC to deliver food products to restaurant customers. You'll run local routes with no layovers and be back home every day.

What you'll do

• Drive a diesel tractor-trailer on local, no-layover routes

• Deliver food products to restaurant customers safely and on time

• Load and unload freight yourself using hand trucks or pallet jacks (touch freight)

• Handle return loads and keep equipment and deliveries compliant

• Do pre- and post-trip inspections, keep DOT logs current, and turn in accurate paperwork

• Stay in regular contact with dispatch, store staff, and other team members

Schedule

• Class A dispatch window: 11:30am-5:30pm

• Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays in this 24/7 operation

• Trailers have lift gates, not ramps

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL with a current DOT medical card

• At least 1 year of tractor-trailer experience, ideally in food service or beverage delivery

• Able to lift between 5 and 75+ lbs repeatedly and stay active through the shift, including time in coolers and freezers

• Good communication and customer service skills

• Able to meet DOT requirements, including reading and speaking English as required

Pay

• Starting at $28.19 per hour (average $85,000 per year)

• Paid weekly, every Friday
