Local CDL-A Delivery Driver — Home Daily, $26.75–$38.75/hr

Medline runs MedTrans, its own fleet of over 2,100 trucks moving medical supplies out of more than 50 distribution centers nationwide. You'd drive a Class A rig on local routes out of the Grayslake, IL area, bringing these products straight to businesses and homes.

What you'll do

• Load and strap down freight at the Medline facility

• Drive your assigned route between the facility and several customer stops, following all required safety steps and equipment checks

• Unload and hand off deliveries, making sure they arrive on time

• Answer customer questions on-site and hand over the right paperwork

• Stay in touch with dispatch to adjust your route or timing as needed

• Keep accurate trip and cargo records per DOT and state rules

• Check your truck before driving to confirm it's safe and fueled

Pay

Hourly rate between $26.75 and $38.75, depending on your location, education, experience and skills.

Home time

These are local routes, so you'll be home every day.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience driving a tractor trailer

• Valid Class A CDL for the vehicle you'll operate

• Meets all federal and state rules for commercial driving

• Clean driving history, no major violations

• High school diploma or GED preferred
