Local CDL-A Delivery Driver — $28–$39/hr

Our company in East Peoria, IL is looking for a CDL-A delivery driver to run local routes hauling foodservice products to customers.

Pay

• $28.00 to $39.00 per hour, paid hourly (non-exempt)

What you'll do

• Drive a tractor-trailer in line with state and federal DOT rules and all Kuna safety guidelines

• Deliver orders to customers and scan cases to confirm accuracy

• Place products in the correct spots at each stop

• Handle customer returns when needed

• Collect payments from customers when required

• Run pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete DVIRs

• Join required company meetings and follow safety and company policy

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL and current medical card

• High school diploma or GED

• Able to get certified on Kuna Foodservice equipment used on your shift

• At least 18 years old

• Able to read, write and speak English

• Able to judge practical issues on the job, such as whether a product is in acceptable condition or matches the customer's order

• Comfortable working in temperatures from -10 to over 55 degrees

• Willing to work overtime when needed

Physical demands

• Frequent lifting, pushing, carrying, bending, stooping, twisting, kneeling and balancing, including loads up to 100 lbs and use of a stand-up pallet jack

• Regular lifting and reaching above the shoulder up to 50 lbs, plus entering data on a handheld device

• Sitting while driving the commercial vehicle
