Local CDL-A Dedicated Driver — Home Daily, $1,550/wk

This is a local, home-daily CDL-A driving job hauling dedicated retail freight for a well-known retailer, mostly drop-and-hook. You'll run short routes with a six-day workweek followed by a required 34-hour reset.

Pay

• Weekly pay runs roughly $1,550 to $1,600

• Pay is calculated per mile (CPM-based)

• There may be extra bonus opportunities on top of base pay

What you'll haul

• Retail freight in 53-foot trailers, mostly drop-and-hook (about 95%), with occasional pallet jack unloading (about 5%)

• Expect 23+ stops weekly, with the longest round trip around 91 miles

• Trucks are automatic transmission

Home time

• You're home every day

• Schedule is six days on, followed by a 34-hour reset

• Night driving is part of the job

• Set days off could become available down the road

Requirements

• Current Class A CDL

• At least 3 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience

• Valid DOT medical card

• Clean driving history, no SAP program drivers

• Must be able to work nights and the six-day rotation

• Need your own way to get to and from work
