About this job
This is a local, home-daily Class A CDL job dedicated to Target, based out of Chicago, IL. You'll run preloaded trailers from the Target distribution center to local stores, mostly drop and hook.
Pay
- From $1,538 a week on average
Home time
- Home daily, local routes only
- Longest run is 91 miles, about 23 stops per week
- Night driving required
What you'll haul
- Preloaded trailers, drop and hook about 95% of the time
- About 5% of stops require light electric pallet jack unloading
- Trucks have automatic transmissions; equipment cannot be taken home
Requirements
- Class A CDL
- At least 3 months of recent verifiable tractor trailer experience
- No recent safety terminations
- No failed drug tests
- Must live within 50 miles of Chicago, IL
