Local CDL-A Dedicated Driver — Home Daily, $0.82/mi

J.B. Hunt is looking for a CDL-A driver in Lima, OH to run a dedicated account for one customer, with steady freight and daily home time. Pay is activity-based, rewarding safe and efficient work, and most loads are no-touch.

Pay

• $0.82 per mile

• Detention pay of $6-$24, paid in 15-minute increments

• $15 per hour for breakdown time

• $25 per load for hazmat

• $140 per day for holidays worked

• $20 per hour for safety training

• $250 per day during new hire training

• Over the past six to twelve months, drivers in this role have averaged $87,000 a year (earnings depend on factors like completed activities, training, endorsements, tenure, equipment and days worked per week)

• Limited-time $5,000 sign-on bonus

• Possible safety bonuses tied to performance

Home time

You'll be home every day.

What you'll haul

This is a dedicated contract account, so you'll serve one customer with consistent, mostly no-touch freight. The role includes onsite management support and paid orientation done online.

Requirements

• Class A CDL

• At least 3 months of trucking experience
