About this job
This is a local, home-daily CDL-A driving job based near Fort Myers, FL, running a dedicated route with expedited freight. You'll make two runs a day on a set weekly schedule, with pay built from mileage plus extra stop and short-load pay.
Pay
- Mileage pay of $0.43 to $0.51 per mile and up
- $30 extra for loads under 90 miles
- $15 for each stop
- Typical weekly earnings run $1,250 to $1,300, with some weeks averaging over $1,300
Home time
- You're home every day
- Weekends are not guaranteed off
Schedule
- Two runs per day
- Work either a Thursday-through-Monday or Friday-through-Tuesday rotation
- Driving happens at night
- Trucks are slip-seated, so you won't have your own assigned truck
Requirements
- At least 6 months of Class A driving experience within the past 3 years
- Must live within 45 miles of Punta Gorda
- Accident, violation and criminal history are reviewed individually
