Local CDL-A Chip Truck Driver — $1,500–$2,000/wk, Home Daily

Our company, a company operating since 1940, is looking for a local CDL-A driver to haul residual wood products and be home with family every night. You'll run daily routes picking up and delivering loads while keeping accurate records along the way.

Pay

• $1,500.00 - $2,000.00 per week

• Extra $2.00 per hour for working nightshift

• Additional bonus pay for weekend shifts

Home time

• Local routes with daily return home

What you'll haul

• Residual wood products, picked up and delivered per dispatch instructions

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL at all times

• Current DOT medical card

• Clean driving record: no more than two moving violations or accidents in the past 3 years

• Able to pass pre-employment, post-accident and random drug testing

• Strong communication skills, safety-minded, dependable and on time

Responsibilities

• Operate the truck safely, following FMCSA rules, hours of service limits and traffic laws

• Confirm load accuracy and complete required paperwork

• Keep the ELD updated throughout your shift

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, reporting any equipment issues

• Stay in contact with dispatch about tickets, delays or mechanical problems

• Wear company-issued PPE
