Local CDL-A Cement Bulk Driver — $29–$35/hr, Home Nightly

Our company, Inc., a family-owned concrete, aggregate and paving company, is hiring a full-time semi driver in Cheyenne, WY to deliver cement powder on short and long hauls. You are home every night and work on interesting projects with a close team.

Pay

• $29 to $35 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications

• Overtime available

• $2000 sign-on bonus and an annual safety incentive

What you'll do

• Drive a semi carrying cement powder and any support equipment

• Inspect the truck before and after each shift, and help with maintenance and repairs

• Write up maintenance problems in the truck logbook and tell your supervisor about anything that could slow work or create a safety risk

• Tie down loads so they meet legal and safety rules

• Help set up and break down job sites when needed

• Keep your truck clean and tidy

• Cross-training in areas like dispatching, batching and mechanics is welcome

Requirements

• Class A CDL with doubles and pneumatic cement bulker endorsements, plus a current DOT medical card

• Willingness to complete a pre-employment screen, MVR check and drug test

• About 1 year of experience is preferred, but training is provided

• Wear required protective gear and work outdoors in heat, cold, dust and noise

• Able to lift more than 50 pounds and handle physical tasks like bending, crawling and reaching

• Overnight travel is not typical but may come up
