Local CDL-A Bulk Tanker Driver — Home Daily

Our company is hiring a local Class A bulk tanker driver out of Stockertown, PA. You will deliver cryogenic industrial gases to customer sites and be home every day on a 5-on, 2-off schedule.

Pay

• Posted pay is $110,000 a year; the posting says drivers average $126,000 a year

• Direct deposit every week

What you'll haul

• Liquid nitrogen, liquid oxygen, liquid argon, CO2 and hydrogen in tractor-trailer tankers

• Some deliveries may be to government sites that require extensive background checks and stricter security rules

What you'll do

• Inspect the truck before and after each trip and report what you find

• Drop and hook trailers when needed

• Connect and disconnect transfer hoses and handle cryogenic tanks and fittings safely

• Watch pressure and temperature while unloading

• Keep hazmat papers, logbooks and shipping records in line with DOT rules

• Flag repairs and maintenance that are due

Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A

• Either 3+ years in a tractor-trailer or 2+ years in a tanker trailer

• High school diploma or GED

• Willing to stay overnight when the job calls for it
