Local CDL-A Bulk Tanker Driver — Home Daily

Our company is hiring a local Class A bulk tanker driver based out of Muscatine, IA. You will haul cryogenic industrial gases to customer sites and be home every day on a 5/2 schedule.

Pay and bonuses

• Average pay of $119,000 per year, paid weekly by direct deposit

• $10,000 sign-on bonus

• Safety bonus

• $5,000 bonus for referring another employee

What you'll do

• Deliver liquid nitrogen, liquid oxygen, liquid argon, CO2 and hydrogen to customer sites in a tanker trailer

• Inspect your rig before and after each trip and report what you find

• Drop and hook trailers when the job calls for it

• Hook up and disconnect transfer hoses, and handle cryogenic tanks and fittings with care

• Watch pressure and temperature while unloading

• Keep hazmat paperwork, logbooks and records accurate and DOT-compliant

• Flag vehicles that need repairs or maintenance

• Some stops may be government sites that require extensive background checks and tighter security rules

Requirements

• Class A CDL

• High school diploma or GED

• At least two years of verifiable tanker trailer experience, or three years driving a tractor trailer

• Cryogenics experience is a plus
