Local CDL-A Bulk Tanker Driver — Home Daily

Our company is hiring local Class A bulk tanker drivers out of Stockertown, PA to deliver industrial gases to customer sites. You will be home daily on a 5-days-on, 2-days-off schedule, and tanker training is paid.

What you'll haul

• Cryogenic and industrial gases: liquid nitrogen, liquid oxygen, liquid argon, CO2 and hydrogen

• Some deliveries may go to government facilities that require thorough background checks and tighter security rules

What you'll do

• Inspect the rig before and after each trip and report what you find

• Couple and uncouple trailers (drop and hook) when needed

• Hook up and disconnect transfer hoses and handle the tanks and fittings safely

• Watch pressure and temperature while unloading

• Keep hazmat papers, logbooks and shipping records in line with DOT and company rules

• Flag repairs or maintenance the vehicle needs

Pay

• $110,000 a year listed; the posting says drivers average $126,000 a year

• Direct deposit every week

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• Either 3+ years driving tractor-trailers or 2+ years driving tankers

• High school diploma or GED

• Willingness to stay overnight when the job calls for it
