Local CDL-A Bulk Driver — $40.30–$50.38/hr Overnight

Ozinga Transportation is hiring an overnight bulk driver in Chicago, IL to haul cement and related products to job sites in all weather conditions. This is a Class A CDL role supporting the Ready-Mix concrete business, working a 7pm-5am shift.

Pay

• $40.30 - $50.38 per hour

Schedule

• Overnight shift, 7pm to 5am

What you'll haul

• Cement and other bulk materials delivered to rural and urban sites

Responsibilities

• Operate company trucks safely to deliver bulk product

• Complete pre- and post-trip inspections on truck and trailer

• Position trucks for loading and unloading per crew signals

• Verify delivery paperwork, collect signatures or payment when needed

• Stop at weigh stations as required to document load weights

• Connect and disconnect product hoses between tractor and silos

• Report any accidents, violations or equipment defects promptly

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving history

• At least 2 years of driving experience

• DOT medical card from a company physical

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Sufficient English skills to read signs, communicate with the public and complete reports

• Able to lift up to 55 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally

• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather and around industrial equipment
