About this job
Our company is hiring Class AZ drivers for dedicated local Amazon linehaul and shuttle work out of the Greater Toronto Area. You get steady full-time hours, no-touch freight and a bed at home every night.
Pay and schedule
- $25.00 per hour, paid by direct deposit every week
- Hourly pay covers your whole on-duty shift, yard time included
- Full-time, year-round work of roughly 50 to 70 hours a week
- Lanes are dedicated and scheduled ahead, so you know your shifts in advance
What you'll haul
- Pin-to-pin drop and hook between Amazon facilities, with no manual loading or unloading
- Late-model, well-maintained tractors pulling 53' dry vans
- Local runs, home daily
Your day-to-day
- Drive between regional Amazon fulfillment and sorting centres
- Inspect the vehicle before, during and after each trip, following MTO regulations
- Handle drop-and-hook in yards and check in with the Amazon Relay app
- Keep your electronic logs accurate and stay within hours-of-service limits
Requirements
- Valid Ontario Class AZ licence
- At least 3 years of verifiable commercial tractor-trailer driving
- Clean CVOR record and driver's abstract
- Amazon Relay or terminal drop-and-hook experience is a plus
The work location is in person at Etobicoke, ON.
