About this job
Our company is urgently looking for AZ-licensed owner-operators in the Greater Toronto Area. The work is local container drayage plus some highway lanes, running out of the Brampton and Bolton yards and the CN and CP rail yards with the company's container chassis.
Pay
- $150,000 to $200,000 per year
What you'll haul
- Empty and full containers for major shipping lines
- Local drayage runs and highway lanes from the Brampton/Bolton yards and CN/CP
- Your truck pulls the company's container chassis
Requirements
- AZ licence with at least 2 years of verifiable experience (2-3 years preferred)
- Hands-on container hauling experience, including CN and CP rail yards
- A CVOR and a driver's abstract dated within the last 30 days
Day to day
- Drive your truck and the chassis safely and follow all local regulations
- Inspect the vehicle before every trip
- Stay in touch with dispatch and customers about load status
- Keep pickups and deliveries on schedule
