Local AZ Flatbed & Container Driver — From $28/hr

Our company is hiring AZ drivers with flatbed and container experience for a Brantford distributor of construction materials and building supplies. The shift runs 5pm to 4am, five days a week, at $28.00 per hour and up.

Pay

• From $28.00 per hour

• Overtime may be available depending on business needs

Schedule

• 5 days per week, starting at 5pm and finishing around 4am

• Hours can flex with business demand

What you'll haul

• Container work: a semi with a container chassis, moving containers from the CN/CP yard in Brampton to the Brantford and Burlington warehouses and returning empties. Help with CN and CP Brampton registration is provided.

• Flatbed work: roughly 48–53 ft flatbed trailers carrying loads from Burlington to job sites and warehouses in the GTA. You strap and secure the load; no tarping is needed.

• Occasional lifting of items up to 50 lbs

Requirements

• AZ licence and at least 5 years of driving experience

• Insurance letters proving at least 2 years of verifiable driving history with another trucking company

• Standard transmission experience

• Moffett truck skills

• Clean abstract and criminal record check

• Flatbed experience is preferred, as are local candidates

• Good planning, communication and time management, comfortable working independently or on a team, and committed to workplace safety
