About this job
Shandex Truck Inc., part of our company, is an Ontario carrier looking for a full-time AZ driver to run local day-shift routes around the GTA out of its Pickering terminal. You work Saturday, Sunday and Monday and are home every night.
Pay
- $23.50 per hour, paid weekly
- Overtime available when needed
Schedule and home time
- Saturday, Sunday and Monday, with a chance of Tuesday being added later
- Start between 6am and 8am, with runs of 8 to 10 hours
- Home daily, no nights away
- Steady local work all year
What you'll do
- Drive an AZ vehicle on local GTA routes
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Load and unload safely when the job calls for it
- Stay in touch with dispatch and customers in a professional way
- Keep paperwork and logs accurate and meet regulatory requirements
Requirements
- A valid AZ licence and 1 to 2+ years of AZ driving experience
- Clean driver's abstract and CVOR
- Clear criminal background check
- Dependable, safety-minded and able to start between 6am and 8am each day
