Intermodal Truck Driver — Frequent Home Time, Avg $76,669/yr

J.B. Hunt is looking for intermodal truck drivers in Hamilton, OH. You'll run between railyards and customers using company-owned equipment, with express gate access and onsite maintenance support. Pay is activity-based, rewarding safe and efficient work, and drivers have gotten home often over the past six to twelve months.

Pay

• Base rate: $0.53-$0.58 per mile

• Drivers in this role have averaged $76,669 a year over the last six to twelve months

• Detention: $20 per hour

• Drop and hook: $35 per stop

• Live load/unload: $62 per stop

• Hazmat freight: $25 per load

• Refrigerated freight: $30 per load

• Driver assist events: $25 per load

• Empty moves: $20 per load

• Equipment cleaning: $20 per hour

• Mechanical breakdown: $20 per hour

• Rail delay: $20 per hour

• Refused delivery: $35 per stop

• Truck order not used (TONU): $20 per event

• Yard checks: $15 per hour

• Layover: $200 per day

• Safety training and required meetings: $20 per hour

• New hire training: $20 per hour

• Holiday pay: $200 per day

• Earnings can vary based on things like training completed, endorsements held, time with the company, equipment type and days worked per week; safety bonuses may also apply
