FedEx Ground BC Manager — $72,000–$78,000/Year

This is a hands-on management role for FedEx Ground delivery operations out of the Wheeling, IL terminal, covering residential and commercial routes within about 50 miles. You'll split your time between running the team and jumping behind the wheel yourself when routes need covering.

Pay

• $72,000 to $78,000 per year

Schedule

• Five days a week, reporting at 8:30 AM

What you'll do

• Oversee dispatch and daily route assignments

• Supervise and support the delivery drivers

• Handle scheduling, DRO duties and station/customer relations

• Jump in to drive a route and deliver up to 150 packages when needed

• Check your vehicle before and after each shift

• Track performance data and keep terminal management informed

Equipment provided

• Step van, fuel, uniform, scanner and hand-cart for heavy items

Requirements

• At least 21 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent

• Clean driving record, no citations in the past 36 months, no speeding over 80 mph

• No felony convictions

• Able to lift up to 125 lbs regularly

• Must pass pre-employment and ongoing monthly drug screening
