FedEx Delivery Driver — $230/Day, Home Nightly

Our company, an Independent Service Provider for FedEx Ground, is looking for full-time delivery drivers to run pickup and delivery routes out of the Chantilly, VA office. You'll be home every night with a flexible 4 to 5 day workweek.

Pay

• $230 per day, which includes a daily performance bonus

• New to FedEx? You'll earn $100 per day during your first week of training

Schedule

• 4 to 5 days a week

• Home nightly with flexible hours

• At least one weekend shift (Saturday or Sunday) is needed

What you'll haul

• Pickup and delivery service, handling as many as 250 stops in a day, aiming for about 20 stops per hour

• Packages may weigh up to 150 pounds, moved with the help of a hand cart

Requirements

• At least 21 years old

• About a year of delivery driving experience is preferred

• No DUIs, no accidents, and no more than one minor ticket in the last 3 years

• Clean enough Motor Vehicle Record to meet hiring standards, and must satisfy all DOT requirements

• Solid verbal English skills, basic writing ability, and comfort with simple math

• Willing to complete a background check, pre-employment and random drug screening, and a DOT physical

• Able to do pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, load the truck efficiently, scan and deliver packages accurately, follow assigned routes, and work both independently and as part of a team (including training others when needed)
