Entry-Level Local CDL-A Driver — $5,000 Sign-On Bonus

Our company, McDonald's largest foodservice distribution partner, is bringing new Class A drivers into its Driver Training Program. This entry-level role is for drivers with less than one year of Class A experience and sets you up to become a full professional driver. If you already have a year or more behind the wheel, look for the regular Local CDL-A Truck Driver posting instead.

Pay

• Competitive hourly wage, paid weekly

• Daily overtime after 8 hours

• Structured wage progression plan as you gain experience

• $5,000 sign-on bonus

• Quarterly attendance bonus up to $500, worth up to $2,000 a year

Home time and routes

• Local routes running out of St. Johns, MI

• Consistent weekly schedule and pay

What you'll haul

• Palletized freight on preloaded trucks

• Touch freight: you'll load off and deliver to local restaurants

• Trucks come with Sirius Radio

What you'll do

• Deliver and unload product at customer locations

• Run pre-trip and post-trip checks on your truck and equipment

• Operate conveyors, carts, electric pallet jacks and hand trucks safely

• Handle returned product, payments and pallets, and complete the related paperwork

• Take on other duties as needed

Requirements

• 0 to 1+ years of driving experience

• At least 21 years old

• Valid Class A, B, or C CDL, or equivalent military driving experience

• Able to regularly lift 25-50 pounds and occasionally up to 170 pounds

• High school diploma or GED preferred
