About this job
Our company is looking for brand-new CDL-A holders for regional driving work. You don't need any professional driving experience — just 120 hours of CDL school training and a completed ELDT program.
Pay
- Earn $0.55 to $0.65 per mile, running about 2,700 miles a week
- That works out to roughly $1,550 to $1,780 in weekly take-home pay
Home time
- Regional runs with time at home either weekly or every other week
- Open to trainees who are new to the industry
What you'll do
- Drive a Class A truck safely on regional routes
- Handle pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Follow DOT rules, including hours-of-service
- Keep your logs and delivery paperwork accurate
- Get freight where it needs to go on time and stay in touch with dispatch
- Stick to company safety standards
Requirements
- Current Class A CDL
- At least 120 hours of CDL school training completed
- ELDT finished through an FMCSA-registered provider
- A clean enough driving record
- Able to pass a DOT drug test and join the Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse
