About this job
Our company wants new CDL-A holders for regional driving work. You do not need prior professional driving experience, just 120 hours of completed CDL school training and ELDT completion.
Pay
- Earn $0.55 to $0.65 per mile, based on roughly 2,700 miles a week
- That works out to about $1,550 to $1,780 take-home per week
Home time
- Regional runs with time at home weekly or every other week
- Trainee roles available for those just starting in trucking
What you'll do
- Drive a Class A truck safely on regional lanes
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Follow DOT rules, including hours-of-service limits
- Keep accurate logs and delivery paperwork
- Stay in contact with dispatch and deliver on time
- Follow safety procedures and professional conduct standards
Requirements
- Current Class A CDL
- At least 120 hours of CDL school training completed
- ELDT training finished through an FMCSA-registered provider
- Clean driving record
- Able to pass a DOT drug test and register with the Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse
