Our company in Sioux Falls, SD is hiring entry-level CDL-A driver trainees to deliver food products to local customers. You'll train on the job while learning routes, safety procedures, and delivery practices.
Pay
Drivers average $80,000 annually, with top performers exceeding $100,000 annually. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered, though employees who worked for a Performance Food Group company within the past 6 months are not eligible.
Schedule
You'll typically work Monday through Friday with early morning starts, and you'll be home daily most of the time. Occasional overnight layovers come with hotel stays and per diem pay.
What you'll haul
You'll drive a tractor-trailer or straight truck on local, over-the-road, shuttle, or overnight routes, delivering food and related products to customers.
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A license
- At least 6 months of commercial driving experience
- Minimum age 21
- Clean driving record for the past 3 years
- Must pass a drug test and road test
- Valid DOT health card
- High school diploma or GED
- Able to lift and move product cases weighing roughly 60 to 90 pounds
