Entry-Level CDL-A Driver — Paid Training, Home Weekly

Our company is looking for new CDL-A holders near London, KY to join a Midwest regional fleet. You'll run dry van freight across Kentucky, Ohio, Michigan, Indiana and Illinois, heading out Monday and returning home every Saturday.

How training works

• If you hold a CDL-A but have no experience, you'll first ride along with a driver trainer on actual loads, earning $850 per week.

• Once your trainer clears you, you'll move into your own truck at full pay.

• Your first 3 months running solo come with a $1,000 weekly pay guarantee.

• Qualified CDL-A school grads need 120+ hours of training from an accredited program.

• Already experienced? With 6 months OTR in the past year, or 12 months in the past 5 years, you can skip training and start in your own truck right away.

What you'll haul

• Dry van trailers

• 1,500 to 1,800 miles weekly

• A mix of drop and hook, live loads, live unloads and preloads

• Fixed Monday-out, Saturday-home schedule

Pay

• Typical weekly earnings range from $1,000 to $1,400

• Mileage pay starts at 56 cents per mile, rising to 59 cents at the 6-month mark

• Short-haul load pay: $40 for loads under 150 miles, $25 for 150-250 miles

• Additional $15 stop pay plus performance bonus

• $300 orientation pay, with travel costs to orientation covered

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL, age 21 or older

• No more than 2 moving violations within the past 2 years

• Must pass a DOT physical and drug test

• Must live within 100 miles of a hiring city: Columbus, Cincinnati, Louisville, Lexington or Dayton
