About this job
This is a warehouse-based loading and unloading role for a DZ-licensed driver in Brampton, ON, supporting route trucks and keeping the dock running safely.
Pay
- $24-$27 an hour
What you'll do
- Help load and unload trailers using dollies or pump trucks
- Build pallets, kits and transporter orders for routes
- Set up and level dock plates, and follow safe backing and parking procedures
- Assist drivers loading stock for their routes and unload incoming waste trucks
- Keep the dock and plant area clean and organized
- Carry out safety audits and keep accurate records
Requirements
- Valid DZ licence and a clean driving abstract
- A forklift licence is a plus
- Comfortable lifting 20-45 lbs repeatedly
- Basic computer skills; warehouse or order-picking experience is a plus
- Willingness to cover routes when needed
- Flexible availability across shifts between 1pm and 1am, Monday to Friday
