DZ Route Driver — Reclaim/Delivery, $20.75/hr Starting

WM Canada is looking for a Driver, Reclaim to run local routes picking up customer products and handling returns processing. You'll visit customer sites, scan and sort unsaleable or recalled goods, and keep routes running smoothly and on schedule.

Pay

• From $20.75 an hour, with the exact rate depending on experience, qualifications and location.

What you'll do

• Drive a company vehicle (3 ton or larger, such as a 5 Ton or box truck) to collect products from customer locations

• Scan and log collected items using a handheld device, and keep accurate route paperwork

• Load and unload boxes onto pallets and the truck for delivery to a food bank or warehouse

• Follow written route and client instructions

• Complete logbooks, follow hours of service rules, and perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections

• Communicate professionally with customers, coworkers and managers

Requirements

• About 2 years of experience driving a vehicle of at least 3 tons, ideally with route management background

• A valid driver's license

• Ability to pass a medical exam for a commercial driver's card

• High school diploma or GED, and a Class B CDL, are preferred but not mandatory

• Must be able to pass drug and alcohol screening, including random testing
