Our company is hiring an experienced roll-off truck driver for a full-time morning shift based in Milton, Ontario. You will run scheduled container pickups and drop-offs on your own, so the job suits a driver with solid roll-off background who likes managing a daily route.
Pay
- CA$28.00 to CA$32.00 per hour.
Schedule
- Full-time, continental morning shift.
- You need to be available for the assigned rotation, including weekends and holidays when required.
What you'll do
- Drive and maneuver the roll-off truck to collect, move and deliver containers.
- Load, secure and unload containers safely, and set them down properly at customer sites.
- Inspect the truck before and after each trip and report any problems.
- Fill out delivery tickets, inspection reports and other required paperwork.
- Stay in touch with customers, dispatch and teammates, and follow MTO, company and workplace safety rules.
- Keep the truck and equipment clean and in safe working order.
Requirements
- A valid Ontario DZ licence is mandatory.
- At least 3 years of roll-off truck driving, including hydraulic roll-off systems.
- A clean, safe driving record is preferred.
- Good grasp of transportation and safety regulations, and able to do inspections and basic equipment checks.
- Punctual, reliable, safety-minded, with good time management and communication.
