About this job
A Milton, Ontario client of our company needs an experienced DZ roll-off driver for a day-shift rotation. You work three days, then get four days off.
Pay and schedule
- $23–$25 per hour
- Three days on, four days off, on a continental day rotation
- Shifts begin at 6:00 a.m. and last 13–14 hours
What you'll do
- Drive a DZ roll-off truck to drop off, collect and swap waste containers
- Park safely, then load, secure and unload containers at customer sites
- Inspect the truck before and after each shift and report defects or safety concerns
- Keep dispatch updated on route changes, delays and problems getting into sites
- Fill out the route and vehicle paperwork
Requirements
- A valid Ontario DZ licence
- Three or more years running a front-end truck
- Three or more years running a roll-off truck
- Insurance letters that prove your time on both types of equipment
