Our company is a growing Canadian construction services company looking for a Hydrovac/Vacuum Truck Operator in Surrey, BC to handle excavation work for pipeline, construction, and utility projects.
Pay
- $41.95 per hour
- Full-time position
What you'll do
- Drive and run hydro-vac or vacuum trucks on client job sites
- Carry out excavation, trenching, and shoring tasks
- Check your vehicle before and after each job and flag any issues to your supervisor
- Keep accurate job site and inspection paperwork
- Clean and maintain your unit
- Follow all safety rules and procedures while delivering reliable, professional service to clients
- Handle physically demanding work as needed
Requirements
- Valid DZ licence
- Able to drive manual transmission
- Clean driver's abstract
- H2S Alive certification required; First Aid certification preferred
- At least 1 year of experience with industrial vacuum trucks preferred
- Strong customer service mindset
- You'll need to join Operating Engineers Local 115O if you aren't already a member
