DZ Fuel Truck Driver — From $33.45/hr

Our company is hiring full-time, permanent DZ fuel truck drivers for its Maxville, ON area operation. You would deliver fuels and propane to homes and businesses on an afternoon shift. This is a direct hire with the company, not through an agency, and they want someone who can start right away.

Schedule

• Monday to Friday, starting at 5:00pm, with 8 to 12 hours worked each day

• Includes a compensated on-call rotation and occasional weekends

Pay and benefits

• Starts at $33.45 per hour

• Overtime paid after 44 hours

What you'll do

• Load and deliver petroleum products and propane to residential and commercial customers safely and on time

• Keep delivery records, logbooks and dangerous goods paperwork accurate

• Complete circle checks and keep your truck, cab and work area clean

• Pass along safety, productivity and customer service ideas to dispatch

• Help deliver lubricants, other products and equipment when asked

Requirements

• At least 3 years of DZ experience

• Tanker and liquid bulk hauling experience

• Comfortable driving an automatic or manual truck

• Mechanically inclined, with local geographic knowledge

• Able to work evenings, occasional weekends and in any weather, including frequent bending and moving heavy loads

• English required

• PM3, PM4 or PMH licences, plus forklift and boom truck experience, count as assets; fuel haulage or delivery experience is highly desirable
