About this job
A staffing-agency opening for a local delivery driver in London, ON. You will run a manual-transmission tandem-axle straight truck delivering lubricant products to customers around Ontario. The role starts as temporary work and can become permanent for the right person.
Pay
- $23.00 per hour, paid by weekly cheque.
- The 4% vacation pay is included in your weekly cheque.
Schedule
- Full-time day shifts, up to 14 hours a day within the applicable driving regulations.
- Reliability and punctuality matter a lot to this employer.
What you'll do
- Deliver bulk and packaged lubricants to customers throughout Ontario.
- Load the truck, then unload it by hand at customer locations.
- Do your pre-trip inspection, check orders and keep delivery paperwork accurate.
Requirements
- A valid, unrestricted DZ licence and a clean driving record.
- At least 2 years of commercial delivery driving.
- Proven experience driving manual-transmission tandem-axle straight trucks.
- Good customer service skills and the ability to work on your own.
- Experience delivering bulk liquids is an asset.
