About this job
Our company (now part of Sunoco LP) is hiring a permanent Class 3 DZ truck driver in Winnipeg, MB to haul bulk lubricants to customers across rural Manitoba. You'll report to the Branch Manager and work independently, with safety as the top priority.
Home time
- All routes are short haul, so you sleep in your own bed every night, even with significant travel around rural Manitoba.
What you'll haul
- Bulk lubricants, picked up from suppliers and delivered to customers.
What you'll do
- Run pre-trip and post-trip inspections and keep your vehicle fueled, maintained and properly reported.
- Load, unload and deliver product safely.
- Handle minor maintenance and basic troubleshooting on the truck.
- Keep accurate records of customer usage, trips, accidents and incidents.
- Keep your vehicle clean and compliant with safety rules.
- Follow DOT, OSHA and company safety policies, including hazardous materials handling.
- Help out in the warehouse (inventory, picking, loading) when you're not on the road.
- Take on other tasks as management asks.

Requirements
- Class 3 DZ license with a driving record acceptable to the company.
- At least 3 years of driving experience.
- Solid grasp of federal and provincial trucking regulations, including log book rules.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to build good working relationships with customers and coworkers.
- Able to write clear, accurate reports.
- Comfortable spotting maintenance issues and doing basic repairs.
- Able to read maps, follow route directions and interpret company policy.
