About this job
Our company is hiring a DZ driver to start right away for a client based in Woodbridge, ON. It is a full-time local city pickup and delivery job with the chance to continue long-term.
Pay and hours
- Pay starts at $24 per hour.
- Overtime is paid once you pass 44 hours in a week.
- Day shift, Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 5:00pm, with an unpaid 30-minute lunch.
- Expected workload is roughly 45 to 55 hours per week.
What you'll do
- Drive an automatic straight truck on local LTL routes across the GTA, downtown included.
- Make about 8 to 10 stops a day.
- Load and unload by hand, with pieces weighing 30-40 lbs.
Requirements
- A valid DZ licence and at least 2 years of verifiable DZ experience.
- Prior city P&D / LTL experience.
- Up-to-date CVOR and driver abstract with no issues.
- A clean criminal record check.
- Independent contractors are not considered.
