DZ/AZ Swing Commercial Driver — $37.68/hr

WM Canada is hiring a Swing Commercial Driver for its Brampton, ON location, running local residential, commercial, and construction routes. Pay is $37.68 per hour, with several shift schedule options available (4 days x 10 hours or 5 days x 9 hours, mostly AM start).

Pay

Schedule

• Options include 4 days x 10 hours (various day combinations) or 5 days x 9 hours, all AM schedules

What you'll do

• Drive a heavy-duty commercial vehicle safely across residential, commercial, and construction sites

• Complete pre- and post-trip DVIR inspections and report any issues

• Empty containers fully, leaving sites clean, and reposition containers properly so they don't block driveways or traffic

• Communicate with your Route Manager or Dispatch about service issues, blocked containers, missed pickups, or customer concerns

• Report any incidents, accidents, or injuries right away

• Follow your assigned route and complete all required paperwork at day's end

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience driving a vehicle requiring a DZ or AZ license (DZ minimum, AZ preferred)

• Must be 18 or older and legally eligible to work in Canada

• Sufficient English skills to interact with the public, understand traffic signs, and complete reports

• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
