DZ Armed Cash-in-Transit Driver — Evening, Night & Weekend Shifts

This part-time role is for an armed driver to move cash and valuables in an armoured vehicle for our company, mostly during evening, overnight and weekend hours in Concord, Ontario and other branch locations. Pay starts at $26.00 per hour, with expected hours of 10.0–30.0 per week.

Schedule

• Evenings, overnights, weekends and holidays as needed

What you'll do

• Drive an armoured truck on assigned secure routes

• Pick up and deliver cash, valuables and confidential documents

• Keep strict custody and control of assets in transit and during handling

• Complete pre- and post-trip vehicle checks and report any issues

• Log transactions, verify shipments, and flag discrepancies

• Stay alert and follow safety protocols during low-visibility, after-hours work

• Handle and store a firearm according to legal and company rules

• Represent the company professionally with clients and teammates

Requirements

• Ontario Class DZ licence held for at least 5 years, no demerit points

• Restricted Possession and Acquisition Licence (RPAL) for restricted firearms

• Must qualify for and pass the company-provided Authorization to Carry (ATC) course

• Air Brake endorsement and PALS certification

• Clean, current driver's abstract

• Pass criminal background and security clearance checks

• At least 3 years of armed guard experience

• Able to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs, and stand, walk or drive for long stretches

• Comfortable in high-pressure, security-sensitive settings

• English required
