Delivery Truck Driver (No CDL) — $19–$22/hr, Mon–Fri Days

Our company, part of Rexel USA, needs a delivery driver in Richmond, VA to move products between customers, suppliers and the branch. You'll drive a delivery van or box truck, no CDL needed, on a Monday through Friday schedule from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM with weekends off.

Pay

For Virginia, this role pays $19.00 to $22.00 per hour, based on your experience and qualifications.

What you'll do

• Check your vehicle each day for problems and file an inspection report

• Keep the vehicle clean and in good repair, flagging any service needs to your supervisor

• Load and unload orders, confirming the right quantity, type and condition of materials before heading out

• Help get orders ready for delivery when needed

• Fill out delivery paperwork, including getting the customer's signature along with the packing list and warehouse manifest

• Collect returned materials from customers and check their condition, quantity and part numbers

• Pick up materials from suppliers

• Follow all DOT rules and state/local traffic laws

• More senior drivers may help train and mentor newer drivers

• You might occasionally cover other branch tasks like counter sales, order prep, stocking or shipping

Requirements

• No prior experience required if you complete the company's driver training

• Valid driver's license

• At least 21 years old

• Clean pre-employment and annual Motor Vehicle Record checks

• A current medical certificate obtained within 60 days of starting, as required by law

• No license suspensions from a traffic accident or violation in the last 3 years

• No at-fault accidents in the last 3 years

• Comfortable handling loads where the vehicle's combined weight stays under 26,000 GVW

• Solid grasp of safety and traffic laws, with good organizational skills and attention to detail

• Able to work overtime when required
