Delivery Driver — Seasonal, $23.28/hr

Our company is looking for a seasonal driver in Blockhouse, NS to handle pickups and deliveries on an assigned route for up to 12 weeks. No prior experience is required, though a year of customer service experience is a plus.

• Temporary role lasting up to 3 months, based on business needs

• Shifts may vary according to operational requirements

What you'll do

• Pick up and drop off packages along your route, keeping track of stop counts and any missorted items

• Load your vehicle and plan your route for efficient service

• Check that packages and paperwork meet company shipping standards

• Use onboard tracking and dispatch systems to log accurate information

• Answer customer questions about shipping options, including cross-border requirements

• Spot opportunities to pass along new business leads to the sales team

• Occasionally help load or unload aircraft or containers depending on location

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent

• No experience necessary; customer service background is a plus

• Valid driver's license (such as class 5, G, or 1/AZ)

• No more than two driving infractions or accidents in the last 24 months

• Must pass driving record and interview assessments

• Bilingual in French and English required for positions in Quebec
