This casual driving role with the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority involves delivering meals and supplies to healthcare sites around Winnipeg using a refrigerated truck. Pay starts at $23.258 an hour with scheduled wage steps up to $26.816.
Pay
- Starting wage is $23.258 an hour, rising through steps to $23.928, $24.619, $25.329, $26.062 and $26.816
What you'll haul
- Assembled meal trays, bulk meals and ward stock supplies, kept cold in a refrigerated truck
- You are responsible for keeping the truck clean, sanitized and in good working order between deliveries
Schedule
- Casual position covering days, evenings and weekends
- Based in Winnipeg, working in person
Requirements
- Manitoba Driver's License Class 5 and 3, both current and valid
- Prior experience driving for transport work
- At least a Grade 10 education by Manitoba standards, or equivalent experience
- Strong spoken and written English skills
- Comfortable with repetitive standing, bending, reaching and lifting, including moderate to heavy loads and pushing or pulling carts
- Able to handle both hot and cold working conditions
- Must pass a Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check before starting, at your own cost for any service fees
