Delivery Driver — Home Medical Equipment, Class 5

This is a full-time driving role in Calgary, AB, delivering and picking up home oxygen and medical equipment for clients, working under our company's Medigas division. You'll drive a 1-ton box/cube truck on a set route, Monday to Friday days, with occasional holidays, overtime, and after-hours on-call coverage.

What you'll haul

• Home medical and oxygen equipment, including respiratory devices, delivered and picked up at client homes

Responsibilities

• Load, transport, set up and retrieve equipment safely at each stop

• Keep your vehicle maintained and report any safety concerns at delivery locations

• Fill out required regulatory forms such as TDG documents, inspection reports and hours-of-service logs

• Walk clients through how to use their equipment and provide related paperwork

• Diagnose and fix minor equipment problems on the spot

• Keep your truck and work area organized and track daily inventory

Requirements

• Class 5 non-GDL license with a clean driving history

• High school diploma or equivalent work background

• At least 12 months driving a 1-ton box or cube truck, plus a year in a customer-facing role

• Able to lift as much as 75 pounds and follow safety procedures closely

• Comfortable with smartphone apps and Microsoft 365

• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to juggle priorities under deadline

• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
