Delivery Driver — Equipment Pickup & Delivery, Mattoon, IL

Our company in Mattoon, IL needs a reliable delivery driver to move company and customer equipment between industrial sites, plants and refineries. You'll run a daily route, handle the paperwork, and act as the face of the company at customer stops.

What you'll do

• Run assigned pickup and delivery routes each day

• Load, secure, transport and unload equipment safely

• Check quantities, paperwork and customer details at every stop

• Get signatures and complete proof-of-delivery records

• Keep the logistics team posted on delays, route changes or customer requests

• Do pre-trip and post-trip inspections and keep your vehicle clean and roadworthy

• Follow DOT/FMCSA rules and company safety and fleet policies

• Use company apps and systems to track routes and deliveries

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Driving, delivery, logistics, warehouse or fleet experience is a plus

• Good customer service and communication skills

• Able to work independently and manage your own route

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs

• Able to handle early starts, long days and occasional overnight travel

• Comfortable driving in varying traffic and weather

• At least 25 years old

• Valid driver's license (from your state of residence) covering vehicles or combinations of 10,001-26,001 lbs GVWR - a regular personal license won't qualify

• Current DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate

• Must meet our company' MVR standards and DOT/FMCSA driver qualification rules

• Willing to take part in required drug and alcohol testing
